Hello, to people who have forgotten to take this blog off your RSS feeds. Way to go!
Long story short: I got that swanky day job and quit the internet as a result. I wound up not liking the job, for mostly interpersonal reasons, and spent a while fretting that I was a failure as a Grown-Up ™. So I went ahead and applied to graduate programs a year before I thought I’d get in, and it worked (after I got two rejection letters from the same school that eventually accepted me).
Classes start next week, and I’m poking potential research projects to see which ones poke back.
But seriously, there will be blogging. Pinky swear.
